Hi! My name is Michael Ellison, and I'm honored that you've taken the time to check out my work. 

By trade, I'm a director of photography in the NYC film production industry. I had a mentor early on in my career who taught me the value of a photograph in cinema, and that to be a true filmmaker, one must first and foremost be an accomplished photographer. Film is, after all, 24 photographs every second! That's why, in my free time, I love documenting the lives of friends, family, clients, and events.
